Ripple : second edition!

How can you explain the funny fact that every one of us has several things on the needles/crochet?

Is it temptation : "Oh! a new yarn!"? (works as well with "Oh! a new pattern!")

Or is it the fear to be left without anything to do (the mere thought makes me cringe!)?

Or, basic weakness to yield to sheer pleasure : the more the better?

Remains a mystery to me... Anyhow, here is a second ripple cover (pattern from Lucy) and no, in case you wonder, the first one isn't finished! But I have such a good excuse : my little one had bought some yarn for my birthday (with the help of his dad of course) and he really wanted me to start using it. So I readjusted the colors (leaving a bright red aside and adding two little blues) and here we go. It would have been a crime not to fulfill a 4 year old wish!!!

Comment expliquer cette drôle de tendance que nous avons à accumuler les en-cours sur nos aiguilles/crochets?

Est-ce la tentation : "Oh! Une nouvelle laine!"? (ça marche aussi avec "Oh! Un nouveau modèle!")

Ou est-ce la crainte de se retrouver sans rien à faire (cette simple idée me donne la chair de poule!)?

Ou, est-ce simplement la faiblesse, on cède au plaisir pur : plus il y en a et mieux c'est?

Cela reste un mystère... Voici en tout cas, voici ma deuxième couverture (neat ripple pattern de Lucy) et au cas où vous poseriez la question, non, la première n'est pas terminée! Mais, j'ai une très bonne excuse : mon plus petit m'avait offert de la laine (avec l'aide de son père bien sûr) et il me pressait de l'utiliser. Alors, après un réajustement des couleurs (pas de rouge mais deux bleus à la place) nous y voici. Avouez que ça aurait été criminel de décevoir les espoirs d'un petit coeur de 4 ans!!!
